If you moved from Columbia to Wrightsville Beach not sure you could say you moved northeast considering WB is almost on the same latitude as Columbia. All of south-eastern NC is on the same latitude of SC.Not quite sure how they mapped that one out.
saying u moved from South Carolina to the Northeast in North Carolina makes no sense to the OP question that was posted, u moved from the south to the south.
It can be, if you're living in Columbia, South Carolina.
Geesh, you must have been sheltered as hell. You could've just taken I-20 east towards the beaches and stayed in-state; ain't much difference between that and where you are now. There's nothing even remotely Northeastern about Wrightsville Beach.
I moved from Louisiana to Upstate New York 24 years ago & have never regretted it. I love the relatively progressive thinking, union jobs in public education, emphasis on education (great public colleges & K-12 schools), lack of racial tension, four seasons, closeness to NYC & Canada & honest, direct communication. I do miss the food/music in Louisiana & the some of the racial diversity. I adapted to the winter weather with no problems. All one has to do is purchase proper footwear/outerwear & drive slowly. I made a conscious decision in my twenties that I would NOT be raising children in the south &, for us, that has turned out to be a great choice.
I'm a southerner. I moved from the South Carolina midlands, northeast to the North Carolina coast.
Things have been fine for me. Quality of life is great. People are nice.
I hear things can get rough moving in a southwesterly direction, though. Watch out.
You can also go to the west-north. No one ever does.
LOL you are so silly. NC is still the south not Northeast
