We know there's cities out there where you can see that it's worth the cost, but what are some cities/places that seem way overpriced and not worth it?

New York for me.
I think New York is great, but they really go overboard on the cost of rent on Manhattan Apartments, and even Brooklyn, Queens, and Bronx apartments... Some say it's worth it, but I think it's too expensive to even let yourself enjoy the city life.

Orlando Florida, who would pay to live in the only major city in Florida without a beach and horrible wages and job market.

I think the Bay Area is worth it.

I usually come to this realization whenever I travel out of town.

I'm pretty sure that the residents of all these cities think so, too. After all, the market is what drives the price.

Plus we're a very vain and conceited bunch with egos the size of San Francisco Bay.

With very good reason. Just got back from the Bay Area...the weather was perfect, and the city was really showing off for me.
