Traton or O'Dwyer -New Home Builders...any comments? (Atlanta: how much, buy)

My husband and I are looking at SF home plans by both builders. We would be interested to hear what your expereience(s) were/ are with either of these builders. Were the standards in the homes pretty decent? Any surprises on how much you had to add in options?

I know O'Dwyer is good.I don't know anything about the other one sorry.

I know nothing about O'Dwyer, but I do know something about Traton Homes. I would not buy from Traton Homes. They have consistently ranked low in the J.D. Powers surveys, and there is good reason for why they rank so low. The company has lousy customer service and doesn't respond to customer needs.

Traton builds absolutely beautiful homes and I know that they have been around Atlanta a very long time and are based here in Atlanta...I know several people that own Traton homes and love them. I would look at stability of the builder and the community and home quality when looking for a home in Atlanta since there are SO many builders here. Good luck with your choice!
