We are moving from Indiana to Georgia for a new job. We have 2 children, 10 and 4. Schools are the top priority. We looked at several houses in both PTC and Senoia. For about the same price a late 80's house in PTC can get you a brand new house in Senoa. From the research I have done, PTC schools are definitely better overall compared to Coweta schools. Does anyone have any opinions/experiences with Willis Road Elementary school? Also, we have heard a lot about the charter school. I went to visit and it seemed pretty good but still in start-up mode. Any experiences with either of these schools?

Peachtree City has excellent schools, no doubt. I don't know specifically about charter schools, sorry. I haven't heard of it when I was living in the area, so maybe it has been built within the past few years. Willis Road is near the Starrs Mill / Whitewater area? Good schools there, yup, they lead the south-of-Atlanta region in many categories.

Fayette schools are better than Coweta as a whole, but it really comes down to the individual school. For instance, Northgate HS (in Coweta) is much nicer than Fayette County High. But McIntosh and Starr's Mill are still on top (Fayette).

If you want more bang for your buck housing-wise...buying in the Northgate District just inside the Coweta side of the Coweta/Fayette line is a great place. Fisher Road etc.
