Any information on how humid the summers are in this area would be helpful. I lived in Florida and too humid. Love the rolling hills and landscape. Looking to retire there thanks for your time

Not as bad as Florida. Definitely not as humid. It's not quite high elevation/in the moutains but you can't get much closer. On the hottest days you're talking half an hour or less to cooler temps.

Any given day has a high and low temperature, the same can be said for humidity.

Here's a link showing the figures in August 2015 for the Toccoa airport (close enough to Demorest)...

Monthly History for Demorest, GA

Scroll down to the bottom to see the daily highs and lows. The daily highs for each day look quite humid but the lows are surprisingly nice. The site allows changing to different months and years, if you want to dig deeper.
