They have been popping up randomly here in the state for years. I remembered staying in the city of Atlanta back in '08 and felt what I believe was a tremor. The next morning I woke up to the national news and had found out that people felt this same tremor as me from Georgia to the city of Chicago it was ruled an earthquake. Just the thought as this past week that past throughout the state their was flash flood warnings. Thinking back when the flood happened in Macon in 1994 when the whole I-75/I-16 interchange was flooded. Their is a plaque of what I believe is the actual event of the Spring Street bridge which has the Ocmulgee River that runs beneath it. During the flood of '94 the Ocmulgee River on this photo plaque that sits when you enter the front of the Zaxby's restaurant on Northside Drive to the left when you first walk into the commercial establishment. Though on Friday February 7th I was coming from Jones County, Georgia and decided to head I-16 west that Ocmulgee River sight that morning put me in the mind of a bowl. Yes, that split (I-75/I-16) sits in a bowl. Natural disasters, they are bound to happen.
