What's ludicrous about providing fresh, clean, unpolluted water for the citizens? That powerplant at Juliette is dumping out coal ash and wherever they store it has most likely has contaminated the wells in the area. https://www.macon.com/news/local/article240017558.html

Scherer when it is shut down in 20 years will end up being a superfund cleanup site. Really sad to see what is happening down there.

Yeah, well if you think Scherer is bad wait till you get the bill for Plant Harllee Branch on Lake Sinclair.

Is that the one that was right along 441 about 10 miles south of Eatonton?
