Im not sure if this has been mentioned here before or not, as my search is not working for some reason...
I went to our local mall this past Sunday to Motherhood Maternity, to purchase some clothing for my daughter in law. We bought about 6-7 pieces of clothing, and I used my visa. A few days ago, I was looking online at my CC statement, and noticed a $20 charge for WPI Parenting Magazine. Since I had no idea what that was, I googled it, and came up with MANY complaints. It seems that if you use a CC to make a purchase at Motherhood, this sometimes happens. I was told by WPI that it was just a "glitch", and they would take the charge off. Its a "glitch" thats been happening well over a year it seems.. I think they depend on people like me, (we are in baby ga ga land), thinking, oh well, its only $20 and we could probably use the magazine anyway..and some might not even notice the charge.
Motherhood told me that the sales person was suppose to give me two free issues of this magazine, and if I liked it, I could subscribe...but this was not my case, and it seems it happens quite often.
So, my advice is to only use cash when shopping there, or to make sure you check your CC bill..There was also another store mentioned, but dont think we have one in my area, so I wasnt familiar with it. Just be aware...Dot
yes, according to what I googled about WPI and Motherhood, several people have.
