Proving that we don't blow up the world ourselves or a meteor does it for us in the next 11 years but here it goes.

The 250th anniversary is now drawing close. If we follow the previous major milestone the bicentennial back in 1976, we need to begin plans now to design events and celebrations.

How should it be celebrated? A new landmark or statue? Some new tradition? Something else?

I know, lets put a statue of obuma on Mt Rushmore. It will just fit in the middle.

By breaking up into smaller regional countries that represent the values of that region. We are all too different to share the same country.

Have your new independent southern states colonize Mars. I have zero interest in it and I hope my new country of the Northeast would not support that or any other military adventures.
Also would be a great time to give full independence to all colonies of USA.

We should have a huge fireworks show with real missiles aimed at our enemies, ending with a big nuke aimed at ISIS or whoever the enemy de jure is. Televise it and set the event to hard rock.
