No one ever feels safer when there are guns prevalent, unless you are one of the rabid gun owners who feels the need to carry your pistol with you into a War Mart or your kids school play. And those people are the ones that make the rest of us normal folks very uneasy to be around. The GOP national convention in Cleveland this summer they did not allow guns into, yet these same politicians are constantly screeching that guns should be allowed everywhere.
Typical hypocrisy.
If they're concealed how do you even know? What kind of parties do you go to?
All of the privately-owned workplaces I have been employed at, had no policy forbidding lawful concealed carry, it was only the big corporate employers that would have these rules.

Big corporate workplaces with "Human Resources" policies written by committees have all sorts of rules, has nothing to do with what is safe.

It's like Chris Rock once said. "Don't go to parties with metal detectors. Sure it feels safe inside, but what about all those people outside with guns? They know you ain't got one.".
I've always wondered how would they would even know if it's concealed. If you have to use it, they'd be pretty gutsy to press charges if you prevented a mass shooting.
You must avoid a lot of places then, seeing as how most places don't allow firearms. That being said, I agree with the last point. The word concealed means it can't be seen. Why do people complain about the gun free zones? If it's concealed and there's no metal detectors who is going to know if you have one? And I'm sure nobody would press charges if you prevented a mass shooting.

Let me get this straight
The more successful a company is ... the dumber they are, when it comes to guns
