Now why would people who buy EVs, supposedly embrace being "green" refuse to use a valuable resource wisely; getting their car charged and then vacating the space so that another EV can get charged?

The answer is simple. You park and need a charge. There are insufficient charging stations because between home and wherever you are going, there aren't any or they are inconvenient to use.

What happened to everyone charging at home during night hours? If everyone charges at home, then why does the garage even have charging stations?

Why isn't the garage simply installing more charging stations and keeping the cost at $1/hr? Supposedly it isn't all that difficult to do, doesn't cost all that much money and cheap charging rates still provide enough profit to make buying and installing more chargers possible.

Doesn't quite work that way does it?

It's becoming crystal clear that you don' understand because you don't want to understand. You just want to keep bashing away at people who think differently than you do.

Since you're unlikely ever to deal with a charging station, why don't you just give a rest now?

Because EV's run out of juice at bad times. It is called "range anxiety" that the owners get.

And please don't stop posting just because opend has no argument against you and asks you to stop.
