Each year, well now you have to say, each month our U.S. manufacturing base continues to shrink more and more. Corporate Boards sadly are facing up to the reality that being domiciled and operating in the U.S. has become not only cost prohibitive but more so a Legal Liability which has a Dark Specter and Risks of Criminal Prosecution!

The current administrations view of the economy is this; "If it moves tax it, if it slows down then regulate it and if it stops subsidize it."

While this Autocratic & Mythological "Green Economy" continues to spread its tentacles and roots faster that any known metastasizing cancer or nasty fungus, our freedoms, economy and quality of life are being recycled into the Mother of all Inhumane Compost.

As a consequence of this Green Fungus Socialist Movement, The United States, once the world's greatest Manufacturing Giant, once the world's greatest Land of the Free and once "One Nation Under God!" is no longer a great Manufacturing Giant but rather;
  • Now our nation is saturated with Regulatory Legal Moolahs who are fiercely replacing our gentile factory workers with Obama's new Green Regulatory Drones,
  • Our nation is no longer the land of the free as we have become the Land of the Indentured Servant!
And finally as this Green Fungus Socialist movement, a movement that truly has embraced Darwinism as its very own Moolah, does everything it can to snuff out God from our history and country, we will soon no longer be "One Nation Under God" but sadly "One Nation Gone Under"

Umm... Nothing you posted has anything to do with 'green'.

If you have a problem with increased regulation, taxes, and a belief in evolution, good for you, but don't try to project those things onto a movement which at it's heart does not have to do with those things.

I disagree, the green movement has at its heart all of these things.

I've also noticed it isn't so much of a movement as it is a religion held by fanatical zealots.

So the green movement over the last several years is at the heart of:

1. Charles Darwin
2. Increased safety and wage standards created through the union movement of industry workers around 60 years ago
3. The crash of the manufacturing industry over the last 25 years
4. Sweatshops in third-world countries manufacturing cheaply made items

I'd like to hear that explanation...

Default The Origins of Ecology & the Green Movement

Recognizing that separating humanity from nature or from the whole of life truly will lead to humankind’s own destruction and to the death of nations. If humanity is to survive then there must be a serious reintegration into the whole of nature where our people can be made stronger. This current quest toward a connectedness with the totality of life, with nature itself, a nature into which we are born, is the deepest meaning and the true essence of the current Eco Green Socialist thought.

The above comment is paraphrased from "Ecofascism and The German Experience" by Janet Biehl and Peter Staudenmaier.

IMHO, the Green Movement in the United States today truly has its origins with what began during the late 1800's in Germany. This purification mindset was then completely embraced as the mantra of the National Socialist Movement of Germany in the 1930's.

Al Gore, Obama, Pelosi, Barney Frank and all the usual suspects with their Cap & Trade Regulatory Carbon Restrictions is driving our nation towards economic disaster and to a Godless society where our freedoms will have been a moot moment in time.

Umm ...

What is the point of all this besides teeth gnashing and "liberal bashing" with no constructive arguments? I'm asking a mod to lock this thread. If you have a beef with the green movement, then ask what to do besides that and still take responsibility for this one planet, the only one that God gave us.

What will you ask for next? The burning of books?

The problem is that this Green Living sub-forum is a poop magnet for the right-wing and left-wing political flies who have no interest in sharing any type Green Living ideas. It's been allowed to morph this way and what should otherwise be posted in the Politics & Controversies - Great Debates sub-sections gets dumped on here by either side with personal agendas. Anyone interested in the orignal purpose of this section is simply put off by the adolescent blather of both sides of these political debates.

Thanks for the explanation. I guess I'm just a late arrival.

It's too bad. Maybe there's other 'green living' forums out there without people with political agenda's.

Thanks again.

There is a Green Party in the USA with a Growing Membership. Many feel believe Green Party Members are Left Wing Eco Fascist Zealots.

There are many words that will evoke debates within this forum. Green Living is one of them. Change it to Sustainable Living or Living Completely Off The Grid rather than attach it to a Left Wing Political Movement.
