I will be attending a meeting staying at a the Sheraton near the Four Seasons Center. I know there are some chain restaurants nearby, like Bonefish.

An aquaintance-of-an-acquaintance said that is a rough area and we should go out to eat or whatever in other areas.

True? Is it a rough area?

Not the greatest area as far as I'm concerned. Not the best choice of restaurants either.. again just my opinion. You're not far from better restaurant choices (and areas).

I like these, but there are many to choose from that are not too far - a short taxi ride:

Greensboro Fine Dining | Print Works Bistro | European Restaurant
Greensboro Restaurant | Green Valley Grill | Greensboro Fine Dining
Lucky 32 Southern Kitchen, Greensboro Restaurant

I, personally, would not want to be out late at night around the Four Seasons Town Center.

The surrounding neighborhoods are not that great but you probably don't need to worry about being harmed to and from the restaurant.
Although Lorie offers much better suggestions for dining.

Thanks.

A relative of a co-worker also recommended 1618 West Seafood Grill (in addition to some that Lorie also mentioned). So we'll have some options for various evenings.

And I'll have my car, so we won't need to rely on taxis.
