Durham is welcome to them.
Pretty soon Raleigh will swallow up the whole area Triangle anyway.

The year is early, by the time the murder counts are in, W-S will again be #3.

Yeah, because a 6.7/1000 violent crime rate is so much better than 7.1?

I like the trend. Just last evening I had to drive to Charlotte, and while sitting in the parking lot that is I-77 I was reminded how glad I am that I don't live there anymore.

Bigger is not always better when it comes to popultaion...W-S is a MUCH MUCH nicer city than Durham. Moved here from Charlotte 8 months ago and these deserted Interstates in the Triad are WONDERFUL!

I have never ever seen traffic anywhere in the Triad in 8 months...locals say it is bad...PLEASE tell me where so I can check it out. THANKS

LOVE the Triad...

The stretch of Stratford Road from Silas Creek past the 40 interchange then to Hanes Mall Blvd.
I think it's about 2 miles altogether.

52 in Winston-Salem can be hellish during rush hour times.

Heh, I was about to say according to the UCR stats Winston is more crime-ridden than Durham.
