When is "furniture season" out in the Triad? (High Point: sales, buyers)

Hi!
I remember when we drove through High Point last year there were lots of people looking and talking about furniture, furniture, furniture. Not knowing much, we didn't know what was going on. But some people told us about how the area has these big furniture markets, sales or something a couple times a year. Can someone please fill me in? Thanks!

The Markets themselves are privately conducted for Retailers who are Buyers of the
displayed and exhibited soft and hardgoods... so you won't be able to visit the bldgs
during "market"... but many local area retailers offer Market Samples immediately following the Market, so plan on coming in November or May to those specific retailers...
