Hi:
I am thinking of relocating to Greensboro from Toronto, Canada.
I am working with a recruiter. I work in the Social Services field.
I have no idea what salaries are like in Greensboro, in order to negotiate a good offer.
I want to be realistic but I don't want to get the bad end of the stick either.
What is a good salary range for Greensboro for someone in the Health Care field? What is cost of living like as well?
Help.....
Unless you have a specialized skill (a nurse, for example), I would guess that the salary for social services wouldn't be very high in Greensboro or anywhere else in NC for that matter.
yep, I guess I do know that the social service field doesn't pay much....anywhere
What is considered, not high though?
What is a fair expectation?
Can you speak to cost of living, in G'boro. Hey can I live on $20,000..... just kidding... I would rather stay here for that.
Sorry for sounding so naive.
I know nothing about NC
I haven't noticed that things including cars, clothes and food are any higher in Greensboro than other parts of the Triad. Jobs seem more readily available than in other Triad cities. Always check monster.com for area info on jobs. My husband has had almost all his job offers in and around Greensoboro.
Generally speaking, the job market in Greensboro is not that great and salaries are not very high which is the primary reason I left Greensboro. Otherwise, it's a fantastic city and you can make a nice living with a reasonable salary depending on your lifestyle.
Good info!! I can really appreciate that X-Greensboro Resident.
