I have opened my home search up to W-S...I see a house on Cameron Ave. in the 800 block near WSSU. Is this a decent neighborhood??? How is the crimes, schools, etc???

I would have to say I would not recommend that particular area. I would not recommend that area due to WSSU and North Carolina School of the Arts are expanding over there making life for some home owners interesting. Secondly, it is one of the areas in WS with higher crime. Third, there are rumors of expansion of highways in that area.

But, that is just my opinion....

I am thinking the commute to W-S will be too much for me. I guess I will just stay and try to find something in Greensboro, but thanks for the response. I am trying to simplify my rather complicated situation and an hour(or 45 min) commute isnt something I am up for.
