Have any of you gone downtown lately? This is starting to gain some height. Especially for the few floors that are currently there. Looks to be about half of the Bank Of America building already.
I wonder if this project is one of the factors causing the Richardson Parking garage not being free anymore on weekend nights (part of the night). This garage definitely will be fuller now but I still wish they would have kept it free. The renovations on the building with Verizon in it beside the Piazza look really good. I especially like the new glass entrance facing this development.

I've heard it was because they were having some problems late at night in this garage. They felt this would help deter it.

What kind of problems? They still have hoodlums on the roof drinking beer. Something that would help more would be having the police do rounds every once in a while up there. Out of the dozens of times I've seen people drinking up there, I've only seen people getting arrested once.
About freakin' time! We had heard from a fairly reliable source (or so we thought) that when the Westin Poinsett Hotel was redone years ago, that they would also revive the rooftop gardens/public space on the roof. That sadly didn't turn out to be true...
