"At one school, for example, the principal wanted to see improvement in math on a standardized test that’s given at the beginning and end of the school year called Measuring Academic Progress, said Sam Patrick, president of a marketing and communications firm and member of the Greenville Chamber.
After teachers implemented the Center for Excellence strategies, the students had met their goal of improving by at least 50 percent, he said."
