I saw a house on "Realtor. com" that looked cute. Could anyone tell me if this is a nice, safe area? Old Augusta Rd., near I-85 & S. Pleasantburg Drive, zip 29605 Thanks, I appreciate it. I'm trying to get an idea of the nicer, but not too expensive areas around Greenville, so that when we come out, I'll have some picked out instead of running around all over!

That could easily depend. 29605 is a HUGE zip code geographically that includes some of the most affluent parts of Greenville and some more rural and/or older residential areas outside the city limits. However, the area you describe is generally a lower-middle class area. Not necessarily an area to avoid, but would probably warrant a visit to see if that area is for you.

I wouldn't live on Old Augusta rd., that area is not great. I used to drive through there pretty regularly, of course, its all relative, maybe it would be ok to you.

I did some investigating after I posted this & decided it wasn't where I'd want to live. Thanks.
