My son is in town and wants to take us to breakfast, before he returns to work near Spartanburg. What do you folks consider a good breakfast place in the Simpsonville/Mauldin area? Thanks.

There's a place near where Fairview Rd ends at S. Main St. - I think it's Carolina Fine Foods. They're usually packed at breakfast time when we've been by there on weekends.

I think my recommendation might be too late, but Coach House on Main Street in Simpsonville has a decent breakfast menu.

Oddly, Simpsonville is kind of lacking in the breakfast restaurant category.

If you're willing to drive about 20 minutes, go to Stax Omega on Orchard Park by Haywood Mall. The Omega Benedict is great!

The Coach House serves up a fine breakfast. If you go to Carolina Fine Foods take a gas mask because they still allow smoking inside.
