There are no good buffets, no matter the style of food. I have not been to a buffet since the "Shane incident". I was at Ryan's about 6 years ago. I heard a grandpa say, "Shane, get your fangers out of that nanna pudding." That did it for me. Buffets? Never again. They are nasty.

Furmanpals, that's one of the classic posts in this sub-forum!

I agree nearly all buffets are merely quantity with very low quality (a few exceptions).

buffets just as good..i seen cooks pick their nose. so whats the diff..you never know what your going to get..google simpsonville mcdonals..some one spit in a tea.

"The Shane Incident" is probably a daily, if not hourly, occurrence in any given buffet for sure. I ate at Golden Corrall several weeks ago, but only because the person staying at our house for a few days REALLY wanted to go, and she paid for us. It had been several years before that since I had eaten at a buffet. The food was edible, but I have no desire to pay for buffet food.
