Dupont State Forest is one of the locations where the Hunger Games film was shot. With the opening of the film this week, there is an expectation that fans will be flocking there to see the location in person.... could be much more crowded than usual for a while.

Most of the locations in the film were shot in NC. One of my professional actor friends living in Greenville played in a few of the scenes.

Hunger Games- Filming Begins in Dupont State Forest

I didn't know that. That's interesting. I had just been up there for the first time last month. We went to that Triple Falls.

I picked her up from the airport (which is beautiful and nice and small) Friday 1:30. She was really tired so we just lounged around at my place until the evening and then we had some chophouse 47. Very tasty steaks!

Saturday we went walking downtown which was very pretty and a lot of fun. I grilled steaks and made garlic mashed which are her favorite.

Sunday we went on a hike to the toxaway/keowee state park and then later on went to Trio on main. Very good and prices were nice as well. We tried finding the dog park in cleveland park but gave up as it was EXTREMELY busy there, what was going on???

Overall she already misses it, hopefully couple months she'll be down here!

There was a "Justice for Trayvon" rally in Cleveland Park that day.
