With the announcement of Dave and Busters. How long will it before they announce Cheesecake Factory, which was originally supposed to go in the same development? Just something for discussion. I've never been to one, but heard it was good.

Don't get too excited over the food. While they pile on the food, it is average. You have better restaurants there already.

+1. Ate at the one in Charlotte a few years ago and was shocked in how much the food quality had declined over the years. At this point, it's just a status symbol to have one.
Agreed plus the food portions they give you are very large and extremely fatty. One meal could feed an average sized person for days. Except for the decor and waiting three hours for a table, CCF isn't anything great. Last time I ate at one was four years ago in San Francisco.
They are kind of a caricature nowadays, but at least I *did* enjoy my drinks and food at the Cheesecake Factory in Chicago we visited several years ago. I even found the atmosphere subued & almost intimate. But I agree with another poster that Cheddars probably fills the same or at least a similar gastronomic niche in that "development" at this time.
Sounds like y'all are describbing the Chedder's Cafe already at the site.
Was thinking the same thing - Huge wait times, lots of unhealthy food, way overhyped, that pretty much describes both Cheesecake Factory and Cheddars.
