New hotel under construction in Greenville (Woodruff: hotels, manufacturing, suites)

Candlewood Suites is now under construction behind Metro Burger on Woodruff Road (across from Magnolia Park Town Center). The 97-room hotel will feature "a 24-hour fitness center, a small market called the Candlewood Cupboard and a music and movie library."

Also have noticed the Microtel down the street behind Carrabas has been under a major renovation. They have a new sign Microtel by Wyndham Hotels.

Back to what it started as... Sort of. Not to bad I suppose.

I'm still hoping the Magnolia Park Town Center development will include a much nicer property. I'm sure Candlewood Suites will be nice enough, but IMO it's just more of the same in that area.
