Dad/Daughter(11) outing coming up Saturday. I have tickets for the candlelight tour around 7pm but can go on the grounds any time that day. How much extra time to build in before the tour? What else should we do besides the tour? I've never been even in the regular season. Thanks for the help!

We are annual pass holders and try to go up once a month or so. The only other thing I can think of worth going early for would be a tour of the winnery. Are you going to have dinner on the estate? We had the Christmas dinner at The Stable last year. It was a treat. You will need reservations no matter where you eat on the grounds.
We went up last month and watched them deliver the tree, 70', to the house.
Have fun and Merry Christmas.

We went on a tour and didn't leave enough time to look around so please be sure to plan some extra time.
