Sounds about right. Everything I'm reading about the Dallas/Ft Worth area (one of the strongest regional economies in the country) is in most ways mirrored on a smaller scale here.
always good news. Been less than 1% in the IT sector and been that way for years now. Takes us forever to find talented software developers because all the good ones are all working! We just hired a guy from another company because there is 0 availability of developers out of work in this area.
So tell everyone you know to become good software developers. No job shortages there!
Gman, have you read much about this study? I am curious because the location quotient for Columbia's education was .67. I would have expected that to be well above 1 with the number of schools in the area. Any ideas?
