Nothing wrong with new hotels. Charleston has been invaded by a HUGE surge in hotels. But, they bring people, who spend money, eat dinner, buy stuff. Which is good for all of us.Tourism is booming in Charleston and Greenville.I still have most of my family in Spartanburg, and when visiting, I love making the quick trip to Greenville for a change of scenery from the coast. The slightly cooler weather, various restaurants, mountains, are all great.SC is lucky to have two of the best mid-sized cities in the South in Greenville and Charleston. New hotels will only inject more money into these cities, and hopefully, make them even better.
