Oh well. Yet another Bojangle's. No complaints, but can we not at last get a Popeyes please? They just opened a new store in Rock Hill, as they continue to expand in the Charlotte area. Popeyes is now in most major Carolinas markets except the Upstate, as well as Atlanta. They need to fill in the gap in the Greenville-Spartanburg area. Bojangle's no longer offers spicy or mild, just somewhat seasoned. Popeyes still has that signature spicy chicken, as well as red beans and rice. We are now way overdue for a Popeyes.
I tried Bojangles a few times when I moved here because up north all we had was KFC.
I must say that I really cannot eat there again. Their breading to me is 100% bland with no seasoning at all. Tastes like they just rolled it in plain flour. I can't even taste any salt.
The food is pretty tasty with the hot sauce on it. You have to ask for the hot sauce. It used to be a bit hotter but I think they had enough people complain they started offering the "southern" style alongside "Cajun" style.
Then they went back to one flavor and I think they took most of the hot spice out of it.
I think the food is like possibly the worst thing you could put in your body, though. FRIED. It's bad for your blood and heart.
Whats so bad about the Bojangles commercials? You guys must not be Scotty McCreary or American Idol fans. He is only doing the material he is dealt. He didn't write it.
Bojangle's had a store on White Horse Road at West Blue Ridge Drive nearly ten years ago. That site is now Walgreen's.
Bojangle's was to open a new store on Wade Hampton Boulevard in Taylors. I think that is no longer in the plans.
