Today it is tapped out. 30 minutes to get through 3 lights. I-85 is backed up as far as Hwy 14 and accidents are happening. I believe it's at its limit, and Magnolia hasn't reached full build out.

Ugh. This is awful. Is it just because Easter is tomorrow?! I mean, I know Saturdays and Sunday (and Friday nights, etc etc) are extra-busy and backed up on there. But you're saying it's the worst ever? I wonder if that has to do with the holiday weekend somehow.

I am glad I have been able to avoid it like the plague. I traveled from Mauldin to Augusta Rd area for a bit of shopping, and it was totally normal.

I have a rule: Avoid Woodruff Rd. on Saturdays.

It's unbearable.

I do think it was worse because of Easter weekend. We went to Bone fish Grill to use a Buy One Get One Free coupon that expired TODAY. It was only redeemable on Saturdays from 11-2. After we left my dh made the mistake of getting on Woodruff Rd. He would have been better off going in back of the shopping centers as far as he could, but, he did not, lol. We will not make that mistake again! But, typically, we would not be in that area on Saturday. We are retired so we can travel during off peak times.

Anybody who decides to go on Woodruff Road on a Saturday let alone the day before Easter deserves to sit in that traffic mess.

I was on Woodruff last Saturay around 1.30 to 2 pm and there was very little traffic. It can get bad at times but nowhere as bad as some claim.

Yes to the above. We are fortunate to live close enough to go whenever we want, so avoid Saturdays unless our son is in town and needs to go to Home Depot to help us fix up our house! We have learned to take Carolina Point Parkway if we have to go there.
