Hi all!

I am not a pumpkin expert, but I do buy them every year to decorate my yard for Fall. Usually I buy fresh ones about a week before Halloween and they tend to last (if uncarved) through Thanksgiving in my yard.

Have any of you had luck keeping them fresh in your yard any longer than that? Our weather goes from cool to hot so quickly.

I ask, because I can get some at a very good price right now.

Anybody have any luck in this area keeping fresh pumpkins in the yard in the Greenville area for 6 weeks or more?

Thanks in advance!

Not sure on your question but can you share where you get them from?

Dunk them in a solution of vinegar or bleach water to preserve them. Just make sure the bottom is dry before placing it on the ground.
