My fiance and I are moving back down. He's originally from the area and graduated from Clemson with a Packaging Science degree. I know he would love to hear from others who have already graduated (2003). He ended up coming to PA for work and thats where we met although I'm not originally from here either (Florida). We can't wait to come back down.
Are any of your Clemson graduates (similar degree)? Where did you end up finding work? Are you still living in SC?
Just out of curiosity, have you and your husband heard about the new Sonoco Institute of Packaging Design and Graphics, currently under construction on campus? I recall that it is a one-of-a-kind institute in the U.S.
I've not heard about it myself but will ask him when he comes home. He's already graduated but he is currently looking for a packaging engineer position down that way either in Greenville or commutable to Greensboro,NC. I can say this about Clemson, it's come a long way and is really growing, so if they are building this, it's no surprise. What a great area to go to school too!
Location: Nothing could be finer... I'm in S. Carolina!!

My husband and I (both Clemson grads) had a couple friends who majored in Packaging and of the three, only one does anything with it and she lives in Nashville....mmm. However, I think there are more opportunities now than a few years ago. I'm sure your husband will find something.
Maybe he could get a job at Clemson; they're always hiring.
