We live in Spartanburg County on 18 acres. We have seen turkey's, racoons, foxes, rabbits, snakes, coyote( only 1), deer, bob cat, and many different species of birds. We love every minute of our life here.

Thumbs up Addition to wildlife in Spartanburg

Wow, that is really cool. I am in Spartanburg and live about 1 mile from City limits and over the last month we have seen a fox and several turtles in our backyard.

I can't wait to see what turns up on our acreage near Tigerville. So far, we've only seen turtles, birds, and squirrels, but we only get to visit a couple times a year. I'm sure once we live there, other critters will come out of the woodwork!

I saw a fox the other day as I was leaving work - you can tell the drought is affecting them. On a hike today I think I saw some kind of lizard run across the path but the dogs scared it off before I could get a good look. Last week there was a turtle on the trail (and one of my dogs thought it was a chew toy lol, thank goodness for a good "leave it" cue).
