Do you think that your move to Greenville was a good one?

My wife and I moved here almost 2 years ago from California, and love it. I've lived in California, NY, NJ, Florida, Alaska, Canada and now SC. This is by far my favorite place ever. The people are genuinely nice, good people. It's a great place to raise kids, (my 14 month old daughter was born here). Nice weather, beautiful scenery, cheap real estate, traditional values and a pro business environment. Oh an amazing downtown; what's not to love?

Lat year when I came home from Houston on business (which is where I am right now, coincidentally) my wife looked at me and said, "I love it here. I never want to go back to California".

I may be a Yankee by birth, but I'm a southerner by choice.

Thumbs up No doubt about it!

I agree with Sonrise. I love the Upstate. My husband and I moved to this area two years ago from Central FL. I don't miss FL one bit! I love the weather, the scenery, the hiking opportunities, the affordable housing, and beautiful downtown Greenville. There's less crime and less traffic than where I lived before also. I definitely feel like it's a better place for us to raise our son. I have no doubt that we made the right decision moving here. I can't imagine ever going back to FL. This is home!
