Even though I've done quite a bit of traveling I've always lived in a very rural area. I'm trying to get a feel for what it might be like to live in or near a city, specifically, Greenville.
We are a conservative christian, homeschooling family interested in some of what the city may have to offer. We are hoping that more people will mean it will be easier to find some that are like minded. Right now we are literally in the woods with few acquaintances and looking for a change and hoping to relocate to a family friendly area where we can find things to do but still be close enough to nature that we can breathe some fresh air when needed.
If you've lived in a rural area and found your way to Greenville, do you like it? Was it a difficult transition and if so, what advice would you give a newcomer with a large family?
