I did see a Subway sign leaning against the building a few weeks back but figured not as that would have to be the biggest Subway restaurant I've ever encountered.

Jimmy Johns would be a great addition to Mauldin as would a Chipotle.

That's great news. My wife is convinced it's still Subway though as she saw two more of their signs propped up by the outside building yesterday. Here's hoping it's JJ's.

Rode up to Travelers Rest on the Swamp Rabbit Trail and saw a small sign in the old TR Arts Center on Main Street (next to Duke's Dogs) "Coming Soon Japanese Sushi/Hibachi Restaurant"

As one who has a father who is from Greece, the incorrect spelling of the name of this restaurant is driving me nuts; it's Tzatziki.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tzatziki

That would be akin to opening a French restaurant and calling it Betcha Mels instead of Bechamel.

Will this be the same El Patron that had the buffet at lunchtime?

It is the same chain. I do not know if the Eastgate Village location will have a buffet.

Yeah I saw this and thought "Um that's not how that's spelled."...heck I'm not even Greek and I know that.
