The Journal reported this week an electronics store has signed a letter of intent to fill the old BabiesRUs store at The Gallery.

What happened to that Gateway computer store at The Gallery? To be honest, I don't even know if they make Gateway computers anymore.

I can't think of any electronics retailer that might be interested in Greenville and big enough to go in that spot.

Fry's is in Duluth Ga I believe. Not many locations in the south.

Another Best Buy location? They had a second very small location in Haywood Mall back in the 90's. Circuit City had stores on Woodruff and Haywood Rds also.

Have to say, went to this place tonight with a large group of people. Not sure what I expected, I've never been to a place with dueling pianos, but I was pleasantly surprised to have enjoyed myself as much as I did. Of course, the company helped too.

It appears they are still working on opening this place. What I mean is, some of the booths along one side where taped off, and there were lots of boxes towards the front of the place, looks like interior design stuff.

For a Monday night, there was quite a few people there, I was surprised. The piano players were absolutely great, very entertaining, and a lot of fun. There's more than 2 players and they interchanged. Also some other musicians with guitars came up for a few sets.

I went on line to see what kind of food they had...didn't find anything except the mention of a taco for Monday., so I ate dinner beforehand. They have a small menu, very limited, and only remembered seeing sliders, not sure what else, didn't really pay too much attention to it. Back of menu were drinks.

I would definitely go back. Fun place for a group to go, especially if it's someone's birthday...I think they just need to finish getting the place together.

I applaud the musicians, they really were great!

Whoever is developing the site may want to leave room for the interchange upgrade to complete I-585's northern terminus at I-85. The at-grade intersection with Fairforest Road and Upper Valley Falls Road will be replaced with an overpass over I-585.
