Heard about this place on the news the other day:

Chikie's Sweetery & Bakeshop

Her goodies look good! Really nice strawberries! May have to go check out this place one day soon!

Sometimes I think I'm in NY when I look at restaurant prices. There's mot much on the menu I would eat there anyway.

$15 for a burger and $12 for a bowl of soup? Yikes!

I agree. We don't eat out much anymore due to the prices and the fact that I am eating a very low carb diet. So much easier & cheaper to eat at home. If we do spend money eating out we are going to go somewhere like Saffron because they sell food I would not make at home. I can make a great hamburger, steak or salad at home for a fraction of the cost at a restaurant.

Exactly! We mostly eat at ethnic places, unless I have a coupon.

Correction...it's Country House Café and they list themselves as being in TR. No proposed opening date seen.

Perhaps not too long - they're staffing up already.
