Jimmy Johns has opened in the old Lenny's location on Pelham Road. I searched the thread and didn't see this mentioned before. This was a pleasant surprise.

Friend just told me he passed this place today called CP French Bakery - not a very French name IMHO. I never heard of it. Has anyone been, and if so, if you've been to LeGrand, how does it compare (both French pastry shops)

Also, went to the Monarch Café in Spartanburg on Saturday. It's where the new farmer's market is on Howard Street. I had the Cowboy Chili, it was FANTASTIC! It's spicy, spicier than I normally would eat, but it was a good "heat" if that makes any sense. Didn't have corn (thankfully) as I thought it would due to the name, but was made with bison meat. My friend had a quiche with a side salad and the gal there recommended she try their Kale Dressing. My first reaction is YUCK! I tried it, and it was really good, so good, I bought a jar that they were selling of it and served it to friends on Saturday night who also thought it was quite good. Very light and tasty dressing. Will definitely go back for both again!!!

Seems something is going in where the BI-LO is in Greer, on the east side of Main on Wade Hampton (not the one near HD) Anyone have any ideas? There's been activity on the very right side of the strip mall as you look at it.

I hope not. The last thing Woodruff Road needs is more retailers and restaurants.

Tear it down and put some trees on site. Maybe even a nice little pocket park.

Biscuit Head is coming to Greenville. Another great Asheville restaurant is heading south. Can't wait for this one.
