I agree with Sophiasmommy. Freddy’s was terrible. I ate there one time when they first opened. It took forever for them to make our food. They mess up my order. The food was not that good. And when I got the bill, I felt ripped off because it was so expensive even though the quality was fast foodesque. That was the one and only time I ate there.
I’ll also say that I’m not really a Panda Express fan. I’d much prefer to go to China on Woodruff or Chin Chin on East Butler.

It seems as if similar concepts Culver's and Steak and Shake have better quality control and the food quality may be better than Freddy's. And as mentioned Freddy's is a bit overpriced. I personally prefer Culver's and the food is usually good there.
I am glad we got Culver's, but I would still like to see a Roy Rogers, Whataburger, or In N Out. But unfortunately In N Out has not expanded beyond Texas. And previously announced plans for Popeyes in Easley and Greer have been delayed for 2 years and seem indefinitely put on hold. I am not sure what the problem is there, but meanwhile Bojangle's keeps expanding in the area.

Yeah only way we'll ever see an In and Out is if they build a distribution center around here, until then we can only dream. Maybe Whataburger at some point, though their footprint is smaller than people think. I'd love to see Popeyes back, but their prices are also a little on the steeper side for fried chicken. This is heavy Bojangles territory so I'm not surprised they seem to open a new location every 2 days.
In-N-Out does not franchise and must be serviced by a distribution center within a certain distance. They made the decision a few years back to build a distribution center in Dallas and thus In-N-Out's can start popping up all over Texas. In-N-Out would have to make the decision to expand to the southeast and likely build a distribution center near Atlanta for Greenville to have a shot at one.
Whataburger has been expanding eastward and I'm holding out more hope that Greenville will one day get a a Whataburger.
