The Great Escape is the name of two entities. One entity is a bicycle and hobby store on Laurens Road. The other entity was a multiplex cinema in Simpsonville acquired by Regal Entertainment Group. That multiplex is now Regal Simpsonville 16.

Was told that Harbor Freight will be coming in to Greer by sometime next year, that they are trying to go in to where the Staples is on WH and Buncome, but can't say how valid the info is, just what I was told.

Staples is closing or not renewing their lease? Unless they are relocating to Piedmont Marketplace or the former Food Lion on West Wade Hampton Boulevard, I do not see where they could relocate.

I went into a Harbor Freight for the 1st time when I was in FL a few weeks ago. Didn't realize how many cool and unique items they have at great prices! I then found they have one in Greenville (by the Kmart near I-185). So if they open up one in Greer off WHB I'll be in tool geekery heaven!

It was a manager who said they were moving in that strip mall. It sounded like they were taking over the Staples, but they didn't say that verbatim, so I really can't answer it. I guess time will tell.

Sign up for their email/mailing list. The prices get even better with their coupons. Some of the stuff is real shlock, but some items, you can't beat their price on. It's definitely a man's place...I usually get stares when I go in there, it's like I've invaded their secret man club. The only other women I see when I do go in there are employees.

I don't care anymore. They quit making onion rings which was the only reason I ever ate there.

Not sure about onion rings, but the spicy chicken and other sides are great. Maybe eventually Popeyes will make it here.

Sorry if this has already been answered but I am new to this forum, have already read through the last 10 forum pages and haven't found the answer yet.

What is going next to the new Office Depot on Wade Hampton?

Thanks!
