Drove down Pleasantburg, between Rutheford and Wade Hampton and noticed as we were driving by, a new building that looks like an Ace Hardware, that I think instead said Ace Landscaping Supply, but was reading something when Imwas told to look and didnt get to process exactly what it as we were driving by.

Can anybody shed some light on this new place???
From what I have read on the signage it appears to be an Ace Hardware/Landscapers Supply Hybrid store
K-Town is OPEN. They opened on Monday. There are no "Now Open" signs because the City of Mauldin will not allow them to post any. It's crazy. We noticed cars so we stopped in. We have not eaten there YET, but, plan to. K-Town

I thought I saw one of those illuminated "open" signs in one of the window facing 385. Shhhh! Don't tell the City of Mauldin. LOL
Made me think of something that happened the 90's you had to get a move-in permit from the City of Mauldin to move in an apartment. It was nothing (like $5.00). Do they still do that? Went to the police department paid your 5.00 and some clerk gave you the look of judgement. Weird -only in Mauldin. LOL

Crazy sign laws are why Mauldin's retail business is not flourishing. Probably has something to do with Burger King, Arby's and Taco Bell and Big Lots leaving the N Main area. I can understand that laws are needed but they should not be as restrictive as Mauldin's are.
