Tried Lost Cajun for lunch yesterday. It's located in the new buildings on Pelham Rd. behind McD. Menu is a touch pricey but the PoBoy Sandwich and Soup special was generous, delicious and acceptably priced at $8.00. (Had catfish sandwich with seafood gumbo) The samples provided when you are seated were pretty authentic and quite tasty. Will be back again.
Highly recommend The Clock on Congaree Rd. Had a chance to dine there for the first time since Jack in the Box. Excellent food and service. Enjoyed the Double Cheeseburger Platter with fries and coleslaw. Exactly my style of double thin patty burger and great crinkle cut fries. Food was hot and fresh, and nice selection on the menu. And they even had Diet Mtn. Dew on the soda fountain, so I was very pleased indeed. Will definitely be returning more often and enjoy supporting the local establishments rather than always the national chains which are not necessarily as good.
And they even preserved the old skylight in the ceiling that was eliminated in the other Jack in the Box renovations, which was a key aspect of that buildings original design.
I've seen several people wish for Popeye's Chicken to come back into the upstate. It was announced a few weeks ago that they're opening a location in Gaffney. I hadn't seen any posts about it.

Cool. They have a place in the Pentagon City Mall in Washington, D.C. So they aren't limited to Texas and Louisiana.
As Popeye's has a presence in the Charlotte, North Carolina, it would be logical to add outlying locations. If it can get momentum going in Greenville, it could have the potential to succeed and grow.
