That is sad news. But the intersection where Trader's Joes is going is already one of the worst in Greenville. I can't wait for it to open though.
I think that whole section of Woodruff from about Roper Mountain/Verdae to Greenridge needs to be re-engineered somehow. Too many intersections/lights - traffic can't flow! Hopefully when they redo the whole I-85/I-385 interchange (IF that ever happens) they'll be able to address some of that.

I think it was gman who was saying in another thread they are considering some different configurations already for that part of woodruff, so someone is at least attempting to plan ahead for more development there

Yeah traffic on Woodruff is bad most of the time, especially on weekends. I couldn't imagine it on Black Friday and the Saturday before Christmas. It isn't that terrible, though. You start to wish you were on Woodruff after sitting at a traffic light at the Lenox and Peachtree intersection, lol.
