Ammo would be plentiful and sold at good prices everywhere and there would be enough to go around for everyone.

well, the anti gun crowd is wrong once again. standard capacity is the normal magazine limit. 10 round magazines did not really exist for most firearms until AWB 94 came out.

also, what I put down is not "spin", mine is the truth and the anti-gun crowd is the spin.

Are you under some delusion that they care about right or wrong?

The odds are on the side of the anti gun people. They only have to get a congress that will pass it once and its about impossible to get it removed. The only reason that the mag ban got reversed is because it was a very close vote and they had to add a sundown to it. 10 years. Even though I don't think Bush really wanted the law again, he said he supported it for political reasons at the time it was about to expire in 04. I believe there will be a mag ban and possible assault or semi auto ban. The latter may be harder to get passed but the mag and BGC I don't see holding on for much longer. We will see how the house holds up in 16, thats the key. I don't put much stock in the WH and Senate holding ground, its the house that has any chance of keeping gun control held back. But I am still buying mags to stock up in case. Prices are pre sandy hook right now.

You can be 100 percent correct and it means nothing. Your argument is not something that is even being used by the gun groups. Its like arguing about the price of eggs in China. Its like saying its not an assault weapon. LOL you may be correct but its not going to hold any water in the war.

No need to ban any guns, government just buys up ALL the ammo! Who would have thought that there would EVER be a shortage of .22?

Profit margin per bullet will help you answer this question. I am no government apologist. I just want honest dialogue. It's not going to come from the anti-gunners or government, so it's on us gun owners to exercise critical thinking an introduce intelligent and informed dialogue into this discussion. Be part of the solution, not the problem.

I picked up a case of 22LR and a barrel of 5.56x45 90 minutes ago.

Please tell me that you don't honestly believe this? You don't really believe that the government is buying up all the ammo do you? The fact that there is no .22 is your first indicator that it has nothing to do with the government. Government purchases are actually down compared to normal. Educate yourself.

yeah i sort of doubt that those ignorant and rude people that have been lined up in stores for .22 ammo are really just feds in disguise lol

back on point, and i dont intend this to come out the wrong way, but perhaps if there werent all the various forums with countless threads and posts asking these same questions, perhaps those who do hoard wouldnt be so riled up and it would not become an issue? Again not digging in on anyone particular, just seems like anything else the more something is on the news the worse it gets (right or wrong)...
