I think this is rather brilliant it is a device attached to your arrow that has a 38 or 357 bullet inside.

Part of me wonders about the legality of such a device but I suppose that depends on the state in which you reside. The other part of me thinks it is a good way to ensure a extra punch and a kill to potentially dangerous game when using your bow.

Hmmm I just watched the Bowmag video again and it sure is a cool concept but then the next video was an independent test of this product in the woods and the results are less than satisfactory. The bowmag also is a one time use thing that cost about $10 per shot.

I think there is room for improvement.

Honestly a well placed broad head is lethal, so I guess I'm scratching my head and saying- what (or where's) the point?

Yes the Duke boys did have a better version but there wouldn't be much left of the animal after the smoke clears. LOL

It would explode sending brass fragments through the meat and causing lots of local damage, but the "bullet" wouldn't move much. A through-shot with a standard broadhead would probably be more lethal. Sounds pretty useless for hunting.
