I am guessing you have never seen what a 9mm can looks like after 10 to 20K rounds without cleaning. All the grey is carbon build up. That is all supposed to be open space.

FYI the dip is toxic and as such is dangerous. Tumbling steel and TI works great and is very easy. A soda blaster can be used on any metal and will take off the build up and not hurt the metal or finish ( anodizing ) it will eat off paints.

Could you share how you came upon such an abused silencer?

Edit: Never mind, found the stock photo on the internet. Guess neither one of us has run into such a mess of a suppressor!

I know the guy who owns the company in Texas who got these. Matt the owner of Stalking Rhino in NC has also shared many of these over the years as one of the nations best silencer jailbreak/ repair/ recore companies. Not sure if we are allowed to share other forums here but if you want the forum where all the silences people are as well as many of the industry leaders feel free to shoot me a message.

FYI I never said that was my can just posted a example of what can in fact happen.
