Does anyone who is mostly bald like me, still pay attention to the little remaining hair? I found that if you just keep it very short, then you can forget about it.

My brother is bald, and whatever hairs he has left, he shaves them off.

I used to have a friend who tried to hold on to the hair he had left, and even tried plugs and niacin supplements and such. Eventually he just stopped, and started shaving his head too. He looked much better with his head just shaved.

As long as you keep it very short, whatever you do don't grow long bits to comb over! There is no way of hiding a balding head, the more you try and hide it the worse it looks, I think you gotta embrace it. My hair started thinning when I was young and also (unfortunately in a way) I have a bad 'mix' for thinning hair - I have dark hair and white skin! So I shave it off completely, it was really hard to do the first time but once people told me that bald suited me I started to feel better about it. I think white guys with blond hair or black guys with dark hair are a little bit luckier because the contrast between hair colour and skin colour isn't so great so 'thinning' is a bit less noticeable, if my hair was blond I think I may grow my hair a touch - but even then I'd keep it 'buzzed'!
