A few days post-Thanksgiving, I have about 3 1/2 hours to kill near Hampton, and I'll have my car with me. Any suggestions for a tasty place to have lunch or cool place to visit? I don't make it up that way often. Thank you for being awesome.

Go to Williamsburg...your car will enjoy it as well!
Seriously, there are some nice little restaurants up there.
Kingsmill usually has a couple of options on Thanksgiving. Their banquet food is excellent so don't be put off by a buffet in a ballroom.

Blue Talon will also be serving Thanksgiving dinner. I'm not sure whether their sister restaurant, The Trellis will be doing the same.

Will it be during the day or night? If at night, go to Busch Gardens' Christmas Town! If during the day, I really enjoy the Virginia Living Museum in Newport News.. plus the Peninsula SPCA and its petting zoo are right across the street. Or the Air & Space Museum in Hampton.. Or if you enjoy shopping, the Peninsula Town Center in Hampton is a nice area.. And Williamsburg has the Prime Outlets and New Town.

You could go to the Peninsula Town Center in Hampton or over towards the Patrick Henry area in Newport News.

Thanks for the advice. I'll be there between about 11 A.M. - 2:30 P.M. Any really good/cool/funky places near Hampton/N.N. to get lunch? Also, I think there is a really good French place out that way. And there is that schwanky plaza near C.N. University. Any more ideas, feel free to post. Happy Thanksgiving.

Kappa Nara's is my favorite Japanese in the entire area. Cross over Jefferson at Oyster point, go down a block an it's on the left.
