This is not an advertisement. I'm just posting ways to help you that helped me when I needed it. Helping others is what I would love to pass on through this post. It's ruff, so keep it legal. If you know of anything additional please add a post.

Things I did:

Paper route: So many people look over paper routes but there are so many open areas for you to work in. Just call the local newspaper in your area. I made at least $4000 within a couple of months. I stopped because I had reached my appointed goal. It was early morning hours but I didn't work more than 4 hours a day. Yes it was 7 days a week. Hated that part. But I did it.

Resort Tours: My friend referred me to tour a VA. Beach resort. Just for touring I received $100 check and a 3d 2n vacation. I wanted to purchase, but my funds at the time did not allow me to. BUT I still left with my $100, and vac. Paying me to walk and listen to you. OH YEAH.

Temp agency: I have a job now, but before that I worked temp jobs. Look for one thats temp to perm. Arrive on time, become a good worker and you could have a perm job. It's really up to you.

Job Website: Also check snagajob.com for jobs. Someone is always hiring. May not be what you want. But it's better than a $0.

IT'S TAX TIME!!! Become a business owner. Take some of your tax money and start your own business. It works. Believe me, I did that also.

Well that's all I can think of for now. Hope it helps in your time of need.

Great information. I'm going to look into the paper route today.

I can vouche for the Temp Agency. I wasn't even aware companies like this existed. But when I was looking for work, someone suggested it. I called ProTemps, went in, filled paperwork and took some tests on the computer, and before I knew it, I was interviewing for a job. Got the job, worked hard, made good impressions, and after four months, applied for a permament job within the company. My boss put in a good word for me, and I got it. been here ever since.

That said, I'm looking to find something on the weekends now.

Anyone know of any ways to find work, even laborer type positions, on the weekends?
